Do you ever think why you eat?

Why do we eat? What is the main purpose we eat? It is because we hungry, our stomach is rumbling?
Sometimes some people eat because they are bored, sad or happy. Just because it's lunchtime, or because that tandori chicken taste so good.oh yah..i have friends who will drive miles just to get their desire food :D

Eating healthy food is a good way to focus on losing weight permanently and a healthy life. While certain diet plans restrict the types of foods you eat, you won’t be faced with this limitation if you follow a diet that includes plenty of healthy foods. When you choose to eat more nutritiously then, you can choose from a variety of foods from which to make your selection. Those are some of the emotional and physical reasons why you eat, but do you ever put much thought into why your body needs food? Not just any food, by the way, but healthy.

Foods that you eat provide the energy to your body to function. Just like you need to put fuel in your car or recharge your handphone, your body needs to be fed energy-providing foods every day. The main form of energy for your body is carbohydrates. Foods like brown rice, whole oatmeal, gluten-free cereal grain, yams/sweet potatoes, nuts, peas, green veggies and fruits contains high rate of carbs.. fuhh list can be long I guess :)

Our body has the easiest time digesting carbs like sugar (not advisable) and starch. Carbs are broken down into individual glucose, fructose or galactose units. Glucose is our body's favorite form of energy. If you don't get enough carbs, your body can make glucose from protein or fat -- and if you get too many carbs- I means really a lot like if you are a big eater, your body is very good at storing them as fat. So too much of Carbs also not good for your body.

Ok and now protein, protein in the foods you eat is broken down into individual amino acids. Your body uses the amino acids to build and repair the various parts of your body. Let say if your exercise then you feel tired and muscle pain, so the protein will be recovery for all our muscles pain. Your muscles contain lots of protein, and you need to replenish that protein through your diet. Your body also needs protein for components of your immune system, hormones, nervous system, and organs. So, protein is an important diet in your daily meal. Fish or other seafood, white-meat, lean beef, skim or low-fat milk, yogurt, cheese, eggs and beans are the food contains high in protein.

Another raw food that your body needs is calcium. Calcium is best known for its role in maintaining the strength and density of bones and teeth. In a process known as bone mineralization, calcium and phosphorus join (-phosphorus is a mineral element for body to create metabolism) to form calcium phosphate. Calcium phosphate is a major component of the mineral complex that gives structure and strength to bones, so our bone will not easy broke. When you don’t like drink milk, yogurt or other calcium dietary food to maintain normal blood levels of calcium, the body will draw on calcium stores in the bones to maintain normal blood concentrations, which, after many years, can lead to osteoporosis and other sicks.

FAT!! our body also needs fats to be healthy and strong. Membranes that contain fats surround all the cells of your body. Your brain has fatty acids, and fats are also needed to signal hormones to be active, don’t worry you don’t have to drink oil or eat any source of fat..all the protein, carbs and calcium that we consume have enough of fat to run our body.emm I don’t want to talk about nasi lemak ayam goreng…

So finally remember that eat to live NOT live to eat. Food is a main energy supply for our growth, movement and repairing the body. From birth, living things start growing, gaining weight and changing.

I don’t advise you to eat all expensive organic food, I m saying that just beware what you are putting inside your mouth.

Finally that’s all I know about nutrients where I learn when drag myself into fitness…
